There is a difference between farmers in the British era and the current peasants

The English rule-time farmers were devastated because of the harsh and other revenues of the British government.  Farmers' land goes to the landlords due to the implementation of the Revenue Code of Permanent Constituency.  Farmers are cool - they cultivate haphazard labor, but none except tears in their hands.  No  Farmers of English rule grew up in poverty and starvation, current-day farmers are independent citizens of democracy.  They own the land.  They fill the nominal 2 landlords determined by our government.  They do their own produce according to their own wants and earn crops.  They get facilities of irrigation, electrical chemical fertilizers, seeds, etc. from the government.  Thus, at present, the farmers of India are living independently and living from the heart of Sukhchain.
